The date is a berry cultivated mainly in the countries of the Middle East. For our Energy balls, we use a supply of organic dates from Tunisia and Algeria. The daily consumption of this fruit is traditionally recommended at the end of pregnancy. After childbirth, date-based bites provide a nutrient-rich energy supply.
Plant of the apiaceae family, fennel ( feoniculum vulgare) has been used since ancient times. It is particularly appreciated for its galactogenic virtues , stimulating lactation in nursing mothers. We use organic fennel extract for our Energy balls.
